inaccessible audiences

Hospitals, penitentiaries and retirement homes

By inspiring an exchange between artists, patients, prisoners, healthcare workers or correctional facility personnel, the outreach programmes we provide to these audiences aim to touch base with the audience, and to make opening up oneself easier. Within the lapse of time allowed by the malady or the encarceration, the outreach programme reintroduces fun and the pleasure to feel and rediscover movement.

In order to propose these special moments, in order to work and to learn the vocal arts, accentus proposes workshops in artistic practices and musical interventions.
These cultural outreach programmes aim to break away barriers of exclusion by bringing together the inaccessible audience and the artists. Not only should it be a strong personal experience, but aslo a chance to feel the benefits from working together.

accentus works regularly with the Maison de Solenn - Maison des adolescents (Hôpital Cochin), which gears its healthcare to the specific needs of teenagers.
