Welcome to erda | accentus

accentus | le jeune choeur de paris | tenso

Why a new website? Why a new letter?  Why just one brochure combining the season activities of accentus, le jeune choeur de paris and tenso?

In 2006, a new association was born : erda : accentus. erda stands for education, research and artistic development. accentus because this association is the accomplishment of fifteen patiently knitted relationships with diverse actors in the vocals arts and around the world.  And all this in order to better our own repertoire.

This new entity, gathering the whole of accentus, the jeune choeur de paris and the tenso programme together, gave itself the goal of supporting
the vocal arts and its cultural influences.  We  wish to reach our goal by taking three different measures: Production, with the season counting no less than seventeen different programmes, Education, thanks to the diversification of our pedagogical and cultural outreach programmes, and Research, which is at the heart of the tenso programme.

The association of erda : accentus is leading us into a new era. Come share this adventure with us.

Launch of Tenso Europe Chamber Choir

We are proud to announce the launch of TENSO EUROPE CHAMBER CHOIR, a new initiative of Tenso Network Europe and conductor Kaspars Putniņš. The choir will bring together 24 of Europe's most talented young professional singers for a summer project of coaching and performances. Participating in the choir will give young singers valuable experience of what it is like to be part of a professional vocal ensemble.

Tenso Europe Chamber Choir will be the first pan-European professional choir to come into existence. In 2013 we will organize a pilot project; the choir will be officially launched next year in Riga (Cultural Capital City 2014).

We hope you will help us make the news known to the world ! The call for young singers to participate is out; all information about the application and selection procedure can be found on the website www.tensoeuropechamberchoir.eu.
