accentus chooses to honour romanticism by performing Robert Schumann’s last ballads, assembled in a tragic story of love and power. Spooky castles, curses and sacrificed lovers come to life through Antatole Levilain-Clément’s inventive videos and the staging of Antonin Baudry, author of the comic book Quai d’Orsay. A troubling and poetic world enhanced by accentus and Insula orchestra, conducted by Laurence Equilbey.
