Due to the health crisis, the concerts on 13 October (Barbican Center) and 17 October 2020 (Warsaw) have unfortunately been cancelled.
Mozart’s masterpiece continues to hold us in its thrall. The sober orchestration is answered by the feverish choir in the “Dies Irae”, the powerful “Confutatis” or the radiant “Lacrimosa“. Even snapped off by the composer’s death, Mozart’s musical testament, once again bedecked in the colours of Insula orchestra’s period instruments, still has the power to stun the audience.
