accentus recreates the atmosphere of Parisian salons from the Belle Epoque, performing both enticing and varied melodies. Pieces from Saint-Saëns’ work figure prominently in the programme to celebrate the 100th anniversary of his death. But this concert is also an opportunity to discover Reynaldo Hahn’s finesse and profoundness, featured in his beautiful a cappella pieces. A most enchanting programme conducted by Christophe Grapperon for his first recording with accentus.
